Winter Garden Tour

Snow got you down? Tired of the gray Ithaca weather? Why not take an hour and get away from it all?

Cornell University is holding a free guided tour of the Mullestein Family Winter Garden at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 30th. The tour begins at the Nevin Welcome Center on 124 Comstock Knoll Drive, and will last for approximately one hour.

The circular garden, Cornell’s newest, displays plants with winter characteristics including persistent fruit, colorful bark, evergreen foliage, and unusual growth habits.

Even if you don’t make the tour, keep the Mullestein Garden in mind for a winter retreat—its vibrant greens, oranges, yellows, and reds will help you leave your blues behind!
