New Location: Benefit for Richie Stearns on November 14

In our cover story of Richie Stearns in the latest issue of Fresh Dirt Ithaca, we talk about how he raises more money playing benefits for various causes than he makes for himself.

But on Wednesday, November 14, Richie is the cause: He needs surgery, and local musicians are playing a benefit to help pay for his medical care.

The event, initially slated to take place at the Perry City Meeting House, will be at Silver Queen Farm at 5286 Stillwell Road in Trumansburg, because the RSVP’s far surpassed the number of people the meeting house can accommodate. This party has all the trappings of a memorable night: great music, homemade food (it’s a dish to pass), a beautiful setting, and, of course, a worthy cause.

If you didn’t have the chance to attend, you can still make donations at Good to Go in Trumansburg or through PayPal.

Check out a few of our photos from the event on our Facebook page→
