Wine Tasting Extravaganza Hosted by Experience! The Finger Lakes

Experience! The Finger Lakes is hosting a special VIP wine tasting series throughout the summer at Standing Stone Vineyards.

The series features six different afternoon events between March and November of this year. (The March event has sadly passed, but be sure to catch the next one on April 21st!)

Each event is a “vertical tasting” meaning that throughout the afternoon participants will taste multiple different vintages of the same variety of wine. This type of tasting highlights how a wine ages and how the process affects the wine’s flavor. The tasting event also includes food pairings created by Danos on Seneca.

Guests of Experience! The Finger Lakes will be treated to VIP benefits including a vineyard tour relating to their event’s featured wine. Participants will also be given one bottle of their choice from the tasting to bring home with them.

There are only 13 spots available for each date, so make sure to book your seat early!

The tasting events will be offered on the following dates:

March 17th – Merlot

April 21st – Gewurztraminer

June 9th – Cabernet Sauvignon

August 18th – Riesling

September 15th – Pinot Noir

November 17th – Saperavi

The VIP tour price is $75 per person and includes guided transportation from Ithaca or Watkins Glen, a vineyard tour of the featured varietal, the vertical tasting with food pairings, and a complementary bottle of any vintage featured in the tasting.

Gratuity not included.

Guided transportation departs from Ithaca at 11:30am and Watkins Glen at 12:15pm. It returns to Watkins Glen at 2:45pm and Ithaca at 3:30pm.
