New Glacier Exhibit Opening and Family Day at Ithaca’s Museum of the Earth

Attention families! Want to educate your budding scientists and glaciologists?

Why not bring the whole family to Family Day and the public opening of the new glacier exhibit at the Museum of the Earth? It is sure to be an exhilarating educational and sensory experience for all.

Visitors to the exhibit will learn all about glaciers: their relationships with climate, their impact on humans and animals, their locations, and their characteristics. Children can even crawl through ice caves where they’ll get to learn about ice cores and investigate their glacial environment.

Family Day is Saturday May 11th from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

All activities are included with Museum admission.
